Kathryn, also known as Kat, is the Principal Technician, and Owner of A Dose Of Ink. As a native San Franciscan, she is well versed in the diversity of the Bay Area, and the understanding that each individual requires something specific to enhance their natural beauty. She has a background in healthcare, working as a Licensed Phlebotomy Technician as well as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. She is certified in OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Prevention and Basic Life Support, ensuring the utmost health and safety standards at all times. In 2017, she decided to take that medical background and integrate it with her love of all things beauty. She specializes in ParaMedical and Aesthetic Permanent Cosmetics and Corrective work She is exceptionally creative, a perfectionist by nature, and takes great pride in helping others.

Kathryn is a Certified, Licensed Permanent Cosmetic Tattoo Artist. She also holds certifications in Microblading, Ombre Powder Brows, Nano Brows, Permenent Eyeliner, Scalp Micropigmentation, Areola Restoration, Lip Blush Tattoo, Color Theory, Tattoo/Pigment Removal. She is trained in microblading by the world renowned Beauty Angels Academy and Phibrows Academy. Phibrows is a manual, semi-permanent technique of hyper-realistic eyebrows , in which the shape is calculated using facial structure and golden proportion. (PHI 1.618). She specializes in natural brow enhancements, microblading hairstrokes and shading techniques as well as Paramedical Techniques, where her passion is driven from. Kat is dedicated to helping bring you as close to your desired result as possible. Her goal is to improve your self-esteem by enhancing the natural beauty you may have lost sight of. Her hopes are that you leave her studio, feeling proud, beautiful, and empowered.
